Queridos amigos, la Biblia afirma que cuando Jesucristo vuelva en su segunda venida separará como Buen Pastor a las ovejas de los cabritos, pondrá a las ovejas a su derecha y a los cabritos a su izquierda.
A los de la derecha los invitará: Venid, benditos de mi Padre, heredad el reino preparado para vosotros desde la fundación del mundo. Y a los de la izquierda los condenará: Apartaos de mí, malditos, al fuego eterno preparado para el diablo y sus ángeles (Mateo 25:31-46).
El Justo Juez Jesucristo volverá para obrar justicia sobre aquellos que vivieron y viven en pecado sin ningún arrepentimiento, serán los muchos que rechazan a Jesucristo los que serán llevados a juicio y recibirán justo castigo. Pero también vendrá para obrar justicia sobre los que creyeron en Él y se arrepintieron de sus pecados.
Dios quiere que todos sean salvos, pues Él es un Dios de bondad y su deseo es que nadie perezca. Además de bondadoso Dios es paciente, pues permite que el hombre siga agrediendo su infinita santidad con su pecado, con el propósito de que tenga tiempo para arrepentirse, a fin de que nadie sea destruido (2 Pedro 3:9).
Pero como están configuradas las cosas, existen muchos que nada quieren saber de Él, o que si bien afirman seguirlo, no viven una vida acorde a sus designios y preceptos, lo cual es prácticamente lo mismo que rechazarlo. Toda esta gente vive pecando y le llegará el juicio que le corresponde con el justo castigo que acompaña.
Observamos que no todos serán salvos, aunque Dios quisiera que todos lleguen a participar de la vida eterna que Él ofrece. El deseo de Dios se manifiesta a través de la llegada mundial del evangelio. Es para todo el mundo, sin importar sexo, raza, nacionalidad, tendencia política o filosófica.
Un chino comunista puede convertirse a Cristo, tanto como un ruso anarquista o un norteamericano capitalista. Incluso alguien como yo, que vivió rechazando y mofándose de nuestro maravilloso creador con la mayor irreverencia. Dios no hace acepción de personas y perdona el más terrible de los pecados, enviándolo al fondo del mar y olvidándose de él.
La muerte de cruz de Jesucristo es suficiente para cubrir los pecados de la humanidad en su conjunto, desde el primer hombre hasta el último en la historia del planeta tierra. Además el Dios Padre no escatimó esfuerzos para conseguir que el pecado pudiese ser perdonado. ¿Quién más podría haber demostrado tanto amor al enviar a su propio hijo a morir en la peor muerte posible, para la salvación de muchos?
Sería un grave error asumir que alguien, por ejemplo, muy pecador a los propios ojos, nunca será salvo. Nadie sabe cómo opera la misericordia de Dios, Él mismo afirma que será misericordioso con quien quiera ser misericordioso. La gracia salvadora la puede recibir cualquiera, hasta el más malo, aquel a quien Dios decida bendecir.
Es menester de los salvos, es decir de los creyentes nacidos de nuevo, evangelizar, porque la fe llega por el oír de la Palabra, y con fe genuina se puede creer en Jesucristo como Señor y salvador para salvación del alma.
Cristo es el camino, la verdad y la vida; nadie viene al Padre sino por Él (Juan 14:6). Todo aquel que busque la salvación debe llegar al camino de la verdad. Sin el conocimiento de la verdad, que es Jesucristo, es imposible poder regirse a ella, y por tanto, tampoco existirá la posibilidad de alcanzar la vida eterna.
