Adviértanse unos a otros todos los días mientras dure ese «hoy», para que ninguno sea engañado por el pecado y se endurezca contra Dios. Pues, si somos fieles hasta el fin, confiando en Dios con la misma firmeza que teníamos al principio, cuando creímos en él, entonces tendremos parte en todo lo que le pertenece a Cristo. Hebreos 3:13-14 NTV
Queridos amigos, cuando se lee la Biblia es muy bueno tener presente a quién va dirigido el texto.
En este caso el autor apunta a una comunidad de hebreos convertidos al cristianismo. Quienes se tienen que advertir unos a otros son entonces personas creyentes.
A partir de este punto la recomendación toma sentido. ¿Cómo podrían advertirse unos a otros sin ser creyentes? Él no creyente no ve la necesidad de serle fiel a Dios.
La vida en comunidad entre creyentes es imprescindible, sino ¿de qué manera podrían advertirse los unos a los otros?
La palabra dice que debemos exhortar y debemos ser exhortados para crecimiento espiritual. Por lo tanto es importante que estemos atentos al pecado para no ser engañados y endurecidos en el corazón por él.
Nuestra reacción ante el pecado identificado debe ser rápida y contundente. Recibamos con corazón humilde toda exhortación.
Una gran manera de vivir alejados del pecado es mantenerse fieles a Dios, a Su palabra.
Para mantener dicha fidelidad se hace imperativo nutrirse de esa palabra, que es palabra viva para vida.
Como consecuencia invaluable los creyentes tendremos parte en todo lo que le pertenece a Cristo.
Ahora imaginemos el alcance de la palabra todo. ¿No es una promesa maravillosa?
