Queridos amigos, que alguien se refiera de otra persona diciendo que es de una sola pieza, es más que un halago un reconocimiento a su integridad.
El diccionario de la lengua española define el término integro, cuando se refiere a una persona, como recta, proba e intachable. Sin embargo, sabemos, por la Palabra, que en este mundo no existe uno solo justo, es decir que sea completamente recto o intachable.
Observamos que el hombre, a pesar de ser visiblemente probo, no lo es en su totalidad por su condición caída, por supuesto que nadie más que Dios está en condiciones de escudriñar su corazón en plenitud.
Llegamos a la conclusión que el ser integro es un término subjetivo que usa el hombre natural cuando una persona demuestra rectitud moral. Como podemos ver hay partes de ese hombre “integro” que no lo son. Eso nos lleva a comprender la esencia compuesta del hombre.
Además de ser psicológicamente y moralmente compuesto de partes, es decir puede tener el anhelo de hacer el bien en un asilo de ancianos y al mismo tiempo querer matar al vecino que pone la música muy fuerte, es también físicamente compuesto. Si pierde una mano no pierde su esencia de humano, así como si pierde la memoria tampoco.
Somos seres compuestos, poseemos un cuerpo y una mente con nuestros pensamientos, tenemos sentimientos y también sentidos físicos. Al ser compuestos alguien puede separar una parte de nosotros y seguiremos ahí, porque casi todas nuestras partes trabajan con cierta armonía.
En contraposición, Dios es un ser unitario, lo cual significa que Él no está compuesto de partes. No se trata solamente de que haya un solo Dios, sino que Dios es uno en sí mismo. La unidad de Dios hace que sus atributos jamás discrepen unos de otros.
Algo que Dios hace está siempre en total armonía y concordancia con otras cosas que hizo o hace al mismo tiempo o hará en el futuro. Esto sucede porque no hay partes en Él, gracias a su unidad, que deban unirse, coordinar o enfrentarse.
Todos Sus atributos se encuentran en armoniosa perfección porque son uno, están juntos de manera indivisible. Claro que las palabras armonía y concordancia solo sirven para, en cierta medida, llevar a querer explicar la esencia de Dios, ninguna de ellas lleva a una definición precisa, porque se requiere de dos o más partes para armonizar o concordar y como ya sabemos Dios es uno.

En el Salmo 50:21 Dios nos confronta diciendo: …Pensabas que de cierto sería yo como tú;… no se refiere solamente a la diferencia en poder, perfección o dimensión, sino a que nosotros somos compuestos y Él es unitario. Mientras nos desesperamos en obrar justicia y al mismo tiempo queremos demostrar misericordia, debiendo finalmente tomar una decisión, la justicia de Dios no desdice Su misericordia. Por eso el puede ser misericordioso con quien Él quiera ser misericordioso y obrar justicia sobre quienes así lo merezcan.
En tanto que nosotros para ser requerimos de muchos elementos, pero nuestro Dios unitario simplemente es, Él es el que es y punto. No existe en absoluto división en su sustancia. Nosotros no somos amor, tampoco somos misericordia, podemos ser amorosos y misericordiosos, porque nos nace, también podemos ser más o menos amorosos; en cambio Dios es amor, misericordia, justicia, bondad no porque salga de Él sino que es su esencia, se trata de algo que Dios es, por ejemplo, Él no puede ser más o menos bondadoso, Él es bondad y su bondad no fue creada siempre existió en Él, eso se llama increado.
Alabemos al Señor por permitirnos conocer de Él, sabiendo lo que sabemos de Él, ¿no se hace cada vez más digno de alabanza? Aleluya mi Señor.
